A shelf tag has one job: keep showing the right price and barcode until someone changes it. Electrophoretic e-paper does that at almost no running cost. Microcapsules hold charged black and white pigment; a pulse pulls one colour forward and the pigment stays after the voltage is removed, so the price survives a battery pull. This 4.26 inch module uses a 480x800 film on 55.68 x 92.8 mm behind anti glare glass, with the FT6336U driving the waveform and sensing touch, so a barcode, a name, a unit price and a comparison figure share one portrait label.

Shelf labels show a name and a unit price. Promotional plates show a discount band and a validity date. Warehouse markers show an aisle and a bin code. Showroom cards list key parameters beside a demo unit. Pharmacy boards show a reimbursed price. Each is a small poster read at half a metre and refreshed on a promotion cycle.
4. AdvantagesRetail economics drive the selection: a refresh costs a fraction of a second of current, so a coin cell survives a full promotional cycle and the price stays on screen between campaigns with no power; the glare free 3 H surface stays readable under track lighting; one tall label replaces the separate barcode and price stickers; and a whole aisle updates from one access point instead of staff walking it with a printer.
5. FunctionsThe module displays names, prices, barcodes and promotional blocks, accepts touch on interactive tags, runs full refresh for a layout change and partial refresh for a price edit, and keeps the last image when power is cut. Partial refresh makes an intra-day correction cheap: only digits change, so the barcode is not repainted.
6. User ManualDeployment: clip the tag into its rail housing, connect the FPC, send the initialization table, and issue one full refresh for a clean baseline. Later price changes arrive as partial refresh commands from the base station. Before rollout, verify the aperture and clip tension, and run a ten unit pilot under real store lighting.
7. PrecautionsDo not flex the FPC while assembling the tag, and keep the glass free of point pressure when clipping it into a rail. Store units between -30 and +70 C and avoid condensation when a carton moves from a cold warehouse into a warm store. Replace the cell with the tag powered down, otherwise the panel may latch a partial waveform and show residue that needs a full refresh to clear.
8. ShippingStandard dispatch is 5-10 working days after payment, with cartons consolidated per store or per distribution centre on request. Pilot batches ship by express with tracking, rollout volumes move by air or sea with full export documentation, and 100,000 piece monthly capacity covers staged store-by-store deployment.
9. Payment TermsT/T, L/C at sight and Western Union are accepted. Trial orders are paid in full in advance, rollout contracts run on a deposit plus balance against documents, and long term programs are structured per purchase order with agreed release schedules.
10. PackagingTags are shipped with protective film and seated in anti-static trays, wrapped in bubble film and packed in an export carton with a moisture barrier. Cartons are labelled by store or by SKU range on request, so a distribution centre can split a delivery without opening every box.
11. Purchase, Return and After-SalesMinimum order is 10 pieces, ideal for a pilot aisle before a chain-wide rollout. Units damaged in transit or failing on first power-up are replaced after photo verification, a 12 month warranty applies to manufacturing defects, and our team supports base station protocol mapping, label template layout and refresh waveform settings.
