Band 0.95 Inch 120x240 AMOLED Touch Display SPI 24 Pin FPC Slim Module

A wrist display is glanced at for two seconds, often outdoors, and then left dark for minutes. AMOLED matches that usage pattern better than any transmissive panel. Each pixel has its own transistor holding the drive current, and the organic emitter produces light directly, so an unlit pixel draws essentially nothing and a black watch face costs no power at all. This 0.95 inch module packs 120x240 pixels at 0.09 mm pitch into a 21.8 x 10.8 mm active area, with a capacitive touch layer bonded onto 41.84 x 16.7 mm glass and no air gap between them. Vertical view angles exceed 88 degrees, so the image holds as the wrist rotates during exercise, and there is no backlight to leak light at the edges of a dark interface.

Fitness bands show steps and heart rate; sport watches show pace over elapsed time; sleep trackers show a score; wearable payment bands show a tap prompt; kids location watches show a contact tile. Each of these devices is tapped rather than typed on, read at an angle, and charged every few days at best.

For a wearable the deciding points are interaction and night behaviour. Bonded touch eliminates a membrane switch and its cutout, so the case stays sealed and thin. An emissive panel makes an always-on dim face feasible on a small cell, which is what users actually want at night. The wide vertical view range handles wrist rotation without the contrast flip of a TN cell, and the 0.09 mm pitch keeps a notification line readable at 0.95 inch.

The module shows watch faces, metrics, notifications and payment prompts, reports touch through the same flex, refreshes over SPI with host-controlled timing, and ramps brightness so an always-on frame dims instead of disappearing. Windowed updates let a clock or a step count change without repainting the face.

Mount the module in the case, connect the 24 pin FPC, apply the supply sequence, load the initialization table, then stream frames. Run touch calibration after bonding, and define a low brightness always-on frame that avoids large white areas, since a bright static element is what produces visible ghosting over months.

Sweat and motion are the real environment. Seal the module against moisture, strain relieve the FPC where the strap flexes, keep bezel pressure off the glass, and limit continuous brightness to slow ageing. Stay within -20 to +70 C, and check that the charging coil does not warm the panel above that limit during a fast charge.

Panels ship within 5-10 working days after payment. Prototypes go by express, production by air or sea, with about 100,000 pieces a month available.
